Title: Frontiers of Multihop Multiflow Wireless Networks

Abstract:
Given the explosion of wireless data traffic and scarcity of wireless spectrum, our communication landscape is rapidly evolving into complex heterogeneous environments that exploit user-deployed and user-operated infrastructures to maximize spatial re-use of the spectrum. As a result, multiple-flow and multiple-hop networks will play a more and more relevant role. In this talk we will discuss recent advances in wireless network information theory to understand the fundamental limits of communication over such networks. In particular, we focus on two-unicast and two-hop multiple-flow wireless networks.
