Machine learning is becoming one of the hottest areas in computer science, widely adopted in disciplines such as artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, social networks, finance and economics. In the industry, machine learning tools have been broadly used to process large amount of data to make information efficiently produced, transferred and delivered to billions of users worldwide.

The Machine Learning Workshop aims to provide a forum to bring world-class scholars to present recent advances and to brainstorm future directions of machine learning. Exciting speeches cover broad areas, including learning theory and complexity, natural language processing, computer vision, machine translation, speech, information retrieval, dialogue systems and crowd sourcing. The program will include keynotes, invited talks, panels and poster sessions.

The first Machine Learning Workshop is organized by the Institute for Interdisciplinary Information Sciences(IIIS) at Tsinghua University and the Institute of Theoretical Computer Science and Communications(ITCSC) at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
